Bitscanner is a private invite-only dashboard. The following information is collected from authorized users:
Username / display name — provided by the user during invite onboarding
Exchange API keys — provided voluntarily by the user to connect their own exchange account. Stored encrypted at rest. Used solely to interact with the user's own exchange account via the official exchange API.
Trade history and position data — generated by the user's trading activity, stored to provide dashboard functionality and improve the platform's analytical capabilities.
Server access logs — standard web server logs (IP, user agent, request paths) for security and debugging.
What information is NOT collected
No credit card or payment information (the site does not accept payments)
No bank account information
No government identity documents
No social security or tax identification numbers
No biometric data
No location data beyond standard IP-based logging
How information is used
API keys are used solely to interact with the user's own exchange account on their behalf.
Trade and position data are used to display the user's own trading activity in the dashboard.
Aggregate trade outcome data is used to improve the platform's machine learning models. Individual trades remain associated only with the user who generated them.
Data sharing
User data is never sold, never shared with advertisers, never shared with data brokers, and never shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared with cryptocurrency exchanges (Bybit, Bitget) solely to execute API requests on behalf of the user, as authorized by the user.
Data storage
Data is stored on a single private cloud server. API keys are encrypted at rest. Database backups are encrypted and retained for operational continuity only.
User rights
Users may request deletion of their account and associated data at any time by contacting the site owner. Upon deletion, all personal data including API keys and trade history will be permanently removed from active systems.
Cookies and tracking
The site uses session cookies for authentication purposes only. No third-party analytics, no advertising trackers, no cross-site tracking.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated. Users will be informed of significant changes via the invite channel.
